The year is drawing to a close, and it’s a good moment to pause and reflect on everything that has happened around Fundis. In short: a lot! We’ve usually been moving at full speed and occasionally stopped for a moment, but we’ve been doing things together all along.
Over the past year, Fundis has been involved in many kinds of community events. These have included many sports, such as football, basketball, floorball, swimming, and ringette. The range of activities in Finland is commendably wide.
We’ve also been part of several events for the whole family, where the atmosphere has been at its best—joyful, a bit noisy, and full of life. Exactly the kind of place where Fundis feels at home.
Fundis thrives on community. On encounters, conversations, and the fact that people and businesses want to be involved in supporting important causes. That’s why partners are extremely important to us. Without you, Fundis would be just an idea. With you, it has become a functioning and growing community where we dare to experiment and do things a bit differently.
Merchant partners play a particularly important role in this whole picture. Without businesses that join in and make Fundis part of their own operations, community spirit wouldn’t turn into concrete actions. Every participating merchant is an important part of Fundis’ story and makes it possible for support to find its way to the right places.
Thanks also to all customers and users. Every piece of feedback, nod at an event, and conversation has moved us forward. Not everything has always gone exactly according to plan, but then again, who would want to live entirely by the script.
Now it’s time to settle into celebrating Christmas, enjoy good company, and perhaps conclude that one more gingerbread cookie fits. Next year is already waiting around the corner with new events, partners, and stories.
