Fundis heads to North America with Tommy Korpinen!

Fundis has gained an incredible partner to lead its expansion into America! Tuomo “Tommy” Korpinen has lived in Los Angeles for roughly 25 years and has held many leading roles at companies such as Rovio, Sony Music, Disney and Warner Music. At Rovio, he was in charge of the Angry Birds film business, while at Disney, he focused on improving the global operations of the film studio.

What made Tommy want to join Fundis after having such big responsibilities in other well-known media jobs?

“Fundis has its values in order. I find it very fascinating and rewarding to be included in a company where the main focus is to provide help for people aiming to achieve their goals through fundraising and social relations.

In addition to this, it’s amazing  to be able to support a Finnish digital start-up that strives to expand to international markets. My own experience, especially from North America, combined with the unique product created by Fundis, creates a great starting point for the company to grow and expand even more.”
