Fundis Welcomes New Partners: Expanding into New Territories!
We’re thrilled to share a wave of exciting news: the Fundis family has grown significantly in recent months, with some truly landmark additions. From a nationwide sushi chain to Finland’s first moving company on the platform — here’s what’s been happening.
Luckiefun’s — A fan favourite finally joins!
One of Finland’s most popular restaurant chains is now on Fundis! With 27 sushi buffet locations across the country, Luckiefun’s has long been one of the most requested additions from our users — and the wait is over. Alongside the classic nigiri and maki you know and love, the buffet also features specialty bites, a wide vegetarian selection, and warm dishes from the Asian kitchen. Luckiefun’s founder Luckie Bao put it well:
“It was an easy choice to start working with Fundis, because I’ve experienced the challenges of fundraising through my own kids’ club activities. With Fundis, supporting a club happens naturally through purchases you’d make anyway.”
Pizza Hut keeps growing with Fundis
Pizza Hut was already one of Fundis’ most exciting early partners, and the collaboration just keeps getting bigger. A new Pizza Hut has opened in Helsinki’s Redi shopping centre — and it joined Fundis from day one. On top of that, Oulu got its very first Pizza Hut, also part of the Fundis network from the start. Whether you’re in the heart of Helsinki or up north in Oulu, you can now enjoy great pizza and support your favourite cause at the same time.
Subway continues to expand — now with Helsinki locations too
Subway has been part of the Fundis network in Lahti and Vääksy for a while, and now three new Helsinki locations have joined the family: Subway Arabia, Maunula, and Redi. Subway entrepreneur Noora Raivio Khan shared why she signed up:
“I heard about Fundis from a fellow entrepreneur. The idea felt great, because I want to support important causes — and FC Kontu is already on Fundis, and my son plays there, so this fits perfectly!”
With Subway locations now spread across Lahti, Vääksy, and Helsinki, there are more opportunities than ever to grab a fresh sub and make a difference while you’re at it.
Off-On Autokorjaamo — Fundis enters the car repair business
Fundis has taken another step into everyday life with a first: an auto repair shop! Off-On Autokorjaamo in northern Helsinki is the first car repair partner on the platform, showing that supporting your community doesn’t have to be limited to cafés and restaurants. Whether your car needs a service or a fix, you can now make that visit count for something more.
MuuttoVelhot — Doing good on moving day
Another brand new territory for Fundis: moving services! MuuttoVelhot is the first moving company to join the platform, meaning that even life’s bigger moments — like moving to a new home — can now be an opportunity to support a local club or community. CEO Tomas Väisänen explained why the partnership felt personal:
“Fundis is a brilliant way to raise funds for a team. By bringing MuuttoVelhot on board, I want to offer concrete support and encourage other parents in my community to start using Fundis.”

New merchant partners have been joining from all corners of Finland. On the restaurant front, Maizi’s Restaurant, Bangkok 9 Iso Omena and Bangkok 9 Tripla, Thai Orchid Villa (Helsinki Kamppi), and Malai Indian Cuisine (Redi) have all joined, along with Pizza Express Herttoniemi, Pizza Service Espoon keskus, Ravintola Babylon (Lahti), Fafa’s Iso Omena and Fafa’s Pitäjänmäki, and neighbourhood favourite Ravintola Mäkelänkulma. On the café front, two lovely neighbourhood spots have also come on board: the cosy Cafe Mutteri in Lauttasaari and the charming Roihuvuoren Rio, a long-time favourite living room of the Roihuvuori community. In wellness and health, FysioPT Henna, FootFysio Mikko Poutiainen, PhysioVirtanen, and massage therapist Sami Mielonen — all based in Lahti — have joined the network.
On the beneficiary side, LASB, competing in Finland’s top floorball league, has joined alongside two fantastic sports clubs: Puistolan Urheilijat, a nearly 100-year-old multi-sports club from Helsinki, and Porvoon Uimarit – Borgå Simmare, the Porvoo swimming club serving both Finnish and Swedish-speaking communities. Community organisations including Mieli – Lohjan mielenterveys ry and Etelä-Hämeen luonnonsuojelupiiri have also joined, broadening Fundis’ reach into mental health support and environmental protection.
