Subway Lahti joins Fundis – do good while you eat!

Fundis has signed a partnership agreement with Subway Lahti. Subway is the world’s largest fast-food chain, but local entrepreneurs make its presence meaningful for their communities. Now, Subway® restaurants in Lahti and Vääksy are also joining in to support local sports through a new way of fundraising.

Subway Lahti entrepreneur Marko Helosaari is excited about the partnership:

“Even though we’re the world’s biggest fast-food chain, as a local entrepreneur I feel it’s important to support local sports clubs and work with them. FC Lahti is one of those clubs, and we’ve been collaborating with them for a few years now. We have a total of 5 Subway® restaurants in Lahti and Vääksy.

I hope this new way of fundraising encourages club members to use our services and, in turn, helps raise more funds for the team. I’m looking forward to getting this partnership started!”

Seppo Kuusinen from Fundis sees the partnership as a significant step forward:

“Subway is a brand known worldwide, but most importantly, it’s present in local communities. Through this partnership, we can offer teams and communities an easy way to raise funds while supporting responsible and healthier fast-food options.”

Markus Mujunen from FC Lahti comments on Subway Lahti joining in:

“FC Lahti gets nearly 2,500 people from the Päijät-Häme region moving on the pitch every week, and it’s Finland’s fourth-largest football club by number of players. It’s fantastic that Subway Lahti wants to kick things in the right direction and play its part in supporting local sports, from kids to adults. Thank you. The ball is ours!”

Through the Fundis app, customers can now pay for their Subway meals while supporting their chosen club. The partnership covers Subway locations in Lahti and Vääksy, and the goal is to inspire sports club members to take advantage of this easy and responsible way to raise funds.

Welcome to Fundis, Subway Lahti!
