The Fundis pilot project has gotten off to a strong start, thanks to the Finnish Basketball National Team Supporters Association and the Finnish National Team Supporters Association, as well as Zaap Isan Thai Street Food and Ahaan Tam Sang restaurants. We have thoroughly tested the app’s various features and gathered valuable data that we’re using to develop the app further. Members of both communities have provided feedback on using the app and its usefulness for fundraising.

SMJK chairperson Piritta Gurung commented on the app as follows: “The app is easy to download and install, very clear for the average user, and works flawlessly. You can immediately see how much money from a purchase goes to SMJK. Once people discover the app, it can be used to raise significant funds. These funds will support youth football, just as SMJK has done previously through project-based initiatives. SMJK also recommends that clubs get involved so they can raise money directly for their own youth players.”

Jarkko Rönholm from Susijengifans commented on the pilot like this: “A brilliant app that fills a real need and can solve many fundraising challenges. My first experience was excellent—I immediately saw the amount collected for the beneficiary. Susijengifans are using the app to raise funds that will be donated to cover expenses for young national team players. I believe Fundis will be well received and will change shopping behavior!”

Thanks again to our partners! We can’t wait for the Fundis launch so everyone can discover this!
