Fundis has signed a partnership agreement with Subway Lahti<\/strong>. Subway is the world’s largest fast-food chain, but local entrepreneurs make its presence meaningful for their communities. Now, Subway\u00ae restaurants in Lahti and V\u00e4\u00e4ksy are also joining in to support local sports through a new way of fundraising. <\/p>\n Subway Lahti entrepreneur Marko Helosaari<\/strong> is excited about the partnership:<\/p>\n “Even though we’re the world’s biggest fast-food chain, as a local entrepreneur I feel it’s important to support <\/i>local sports clubs and work with them. FC Lahti is one of those clubs, <\/i>and we’ve been collaborating with them for a few years now. <\/i>We have a total of 5 Subway\u00ae restaurants in Lahti and V\u00e4\u00e4ksy. <\/i> <\/p>\n I hope this new way of fundraising encourages club members to use our services and, in turn, helps raise more funds for the team. I\u2019m looking forward to getting this partnership started!” <\/i><\/p>\n Seppo Kuusinen<\/strong> from Fundis sees the partnership as a significant step forward:<\/p>\n “Subway is a brand known worldwide, but most importantly, it\u2019s present <\/i>in local communities. Through this partnership, we can offer teams and communities <\/i>an easy way to raise funds while supporting responsible and healthier fast-food options.”<\/i><\/p>\n Markus Mujunen<\/strong> from FC Lahti comments on Subway Lahti joining in:<\/p>\n \u201cFC Lahti gets nearly 2,500 people from the P\u00e4ij\u00e4t-H\u00e4me region moving on the pitch every week, and it\u2019s <\/i>Finland’s fourth-largest football club by number of players.
