The Thai restaurant Ahaan Tam Sang in Itäkeskus was the first business where Fundis was tested and our first partner company. After successful testing, Zaap Isan Thai Street Food restaurants on Iso-Roba and Töölönlahdenkatu also joined. We asked the restaurant owner Warakorn “Kenzu” Iamruang what made them get involved at such an early stage.
“The idea behind Fundis is really good. We wanted to get involved to support young people and other important causes. Everything has worked well, and it’s been interesting to be part of it right from the start.”
During the pilot, we’ve had the opportunity to test the Fundis app at Zaap Isan Thai Street Food and Ahaan Tam Sang restaurants. Thanks to our cooperation, we’ve been able to test the app in real customer situations. We’ve gathered a lot of valuable data and learned concretely about the app’s strengths and weaknesses. After the pilot, we’re more ready than ever to launch the app and start actual operations. There’s still work to do, but we’ll be ready soon!
A warm recommendation for these restaurants and a big thank you for the cooperation to the restaurant owner Warakorn “Kenzu” Iamruang and the entire staff!
